Thinking Outside the Blocks, founded by songwriters Allie Moss and Bess Rogers in 2016, is an online education platform and community hub for songwriters of all levels and styles. Born from their own personal experiences battling writer’s block and learning how to foster healthy long-lasting creativity, their workshops are designed to help other writers facing the same challenges. Uniquely, Thinking Outside the Blocks takes a holistic approach to songwriting, focusing not on how to write a hit song but on how to love the process of songwriting. Since its inception, Thinking Outside the Blocks has built a loyal community and has expanded to include 9 different workshops, a weekly blog, and a free weekly Community Classes on a variety of topics. True to Allie & Bess’ personal dynamic, the workshops are easy-going, supportive and fun.
